This virtual event will be a standout in the alternative investment industry, offering a virtual platform for one-on-one capital introduction meetings between alternative investment managers and a wide range of leading allocators worldwide. This includes endowments, foundations, pensions, sovereign wealth funds, institutional consulting firms, OCIOs, fund of funds, family offices, and private banks, among others.
Combining the best elements of GAINING THE EDGE – Cap Intro events with GAINING THE EDGE’s Alternative Investment Conferences and Educational Webinar Series, this event will feature a lineup of 7+ hour-long Interactive Panel Style Discussions held periodically from April 2026 to June 2026. These discussions will include prominent decision makers in the alternative investment space. The webinars will be live, interactive, and offer participants the opportunity to submit questions.
In addition to hosting its last four GAINING THE EDGE – Cap Intro events, the organization also manages the GAINING THE EDGE – Hedge Fund Educational Webinar Series. This series has attracted over 10,000 industry professionals who registered for one of its 24 episodes. From 2016 to 2020, the organization hosted the GAINING THE EDGE – Hedge Fund Conferences, all of which sold out with over 2,000 registrations each.
The organization’s affiliate, Agecroft Partners, was a joint owner of Hedgeopolis, one of the top hedge fund conferences in the industry from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, over 37,000 professionals subscribe to their Hedge Fund Industry Insight Newsletter. Agecroft Partners has been selected as the top third-party marketing firm by HFM Week and/or Hedgeweek for 12 consecutive years, and contributes its time to help ensure the success of these events.
Meetings are scheduled to last for 30 minutes, but there is not a strict cut off once the time is reached. Participants who are willing and able to meet for longer have the flexibility to do so.Â
Participants will be given a unique URL upon a 1-1 video meeting confirmation, which will allow up to 3 people per firm to join.

Investor FAQ's
No, registration for “approved” allocators/investors is complimentary.
Yes, investors are expected to sign up for a minimum of 5 meetings.
No, investors should read all disclosures and understand all risks associated with investing in alternative investments during the investor registration process. Investors should conduct their own due diligence on managers, and if need be, seek advice from their advisors or reputable third party organizations to validate information submitted by managers.
Manager FAQ's
There is staged pricing based on when a manager registers. Registration includes 2 logins to access the platform.
Early Bird Pricing: $4,975
Prices will increase nearer to the event.
No. There are no additional charges for additional meetings.
Managers should sign up early to secure the lowest price.
The registration price is for one strategy. Additional strategies/funds can be added for an additional $750/fund.
It is our objective for all alternative managers that participate in our event to have a large number of confirmed meetings. However, it is ultimately up to the investors to choose which funds they would like to meet with and Gaining the Edge cannot guarantee that a manager will be successful in confirming meetings. We will not be providing any refunds.
Gaining the Edge will provide the investor contact information to the manager and it will be up to both parties to follow up and schedule a meeting at a convenient time.
